Food 365 | Day 250: Japanese Inspired Italian at Basta Pasta

I have known about Basta Pasta in Flatiron for a very long time but for some reason I have always kind of pushed it off to the back burners.  Only recently did I finally give this Japanese inspired Italian restaurant a try and was pleasantly surprised.  The bright restaurant is bustling with a kitchen that churns out variations of traditional pasta dishes.  The service is quick and food is reliable, making Basta Pasta now my go-to in the neighborhood for a quick filling meal.
