Food 365 | Day 242: Pear Cider Float at the Hop

We were en route to our abode in the Berkshires for the weekend when our stomachs called for us to pull over.  Luckily, we found The Hop welcoming us in the town of Beacon, NY.  While we waited for our dinner, an order of their pear cider float to start.  Sure, this combination of hard pear cider, raspberry ice cream and toasted almonds might be more dessert than a drink, there’s nothing wrong with starting dinner with dessert first.
