Food 365 | Day 86: Sullivan Street Bakery

When the weather warms up, I love to take a slightly longer walk during lunch and head over to Sullivan Street Bakery.  And no, it isn’t on Sullivan Street, but instead the bakery is tucked in between a garage and a car dealership on 47th street.  The tiny retail shop churns out delicious breads and pizzas as well as delicate sandwiches.  Today, I chose the spicy broccoli rabe with garlic and parmesan cheese in between their strecci bread.  The ingredients are simple but the sandwiches are so fulfilling.  I promise that it was delicious and you will walk away happy, despite the look from the man I caught mid bite in my picture.
