Food 365 | Day 62: Blooming Onion

I feel obligated to issue a warning or at least footnote this entry.  Your eyes are not deceiving you.  Below is an order of the blooming onion from Outback Steakhouse – take out order nonetheless.  You see, this has been a weird inside joke for some time now.  I love onion rings and growing up, I never really dined at Outback.  So a few years ago, when I discovered that they had this amazing concoction called the blooming onion via the Food Network, I felt this strange desire to try it.  Finally, after all these years of living within close vicinity to the only Outback in the city, I finally had a taste without actually having to dine there thanks to MD.  Luckily for my health and my taste credibility, this was not as delicious as I had envisioned in my head.
