Food 365 | Day 21: Bien Cuit

There’s a new bakery in the neighborhood!  Bien Cuit opened in West Village at the end of last year right next to Jeffrey’s Grocery.  We stopped in for a quick peek after a light lunch at Joseph Leonard.  Even though we couldn’t partake in the breads and various baked good offered, I did walk away with a piece of their chocolate chip shortbread.  Barely sweet, the crumbly and crispy shortbread was buttery and addicting, making me wish Bien Cuit had opened a little closer to me.
