Food 365 | Day 6: Pear Bread at Cafe Grumpy

Before I treated myself to my Nespresso, Cafe Grumpy had been my neighborhood spot for a strong cup of latte and a sweet bite, sometimes a financier and other times, a scone.   And today during my spontaneous overdue visit, the delicate square of pear bread with a dollop of creme fraiche on top caught my eye.  Just the right amount of sweetness enjoyed with a cup of bitter sweet creamy latte in the bustling cafe.
