Quick Sunday Night Takeout
June 18, 2012
A refreshing run in Central Park early Sunday evening and then a quick stop by Momoya on my way back to squeeze in an order before 7PM. My new apartment is only three doors away from Momoya, a popular restaurant with a constant crowd every night of the week. So in demand in fact that they institute a 7PM cutoff for takeout orders.
Spicy scallop is simple and creamy with only the slightest bite. The Nakamura, a yellowtail and cucumber roll topped with tuna, salmon and spicy scallops, is a bit more complex and crunchy. Two rolls and a small serving of seaweed salad make for a quick and light yet filling meal.
