Weather House Arrest = Time to Write

With four gallons of water, a fridge full of food, and lots of reading, I am ready for the weekend of Hurricane Irene imposed “house arrest” as I am sure most of my fellow New Yorkers are.

No rain yet but with the subways down, stores are all  closed.  This means that I will have plenty of time to finally write up all the entries that have backed up in the queue.  I snuck off to the gym before the rain came and devoured one of my mom’s zhong-zi, studded with black rice for a nice chew and deliciously tender fatty pork.

Homey food is always welcomed in my kitchen!  Now onto organizing pictures and planning out the entries to post.
